What is audiclip? A tool that turns your saved articles into a daily AI podcast. Save links throughout the day. Each morning, two AI hosts discuss them in a podcast episode. Listen via RSS in any podcast app.
How is it different from text-to-speech? TTS reads articles word-for-word in a single synthetic voice. audiclip generates a CONVERSATION between two hosts who discuss the ideas, ask questions, and skip boilerplate. The difference is dramatic — both in quality and engagement.
How is it different from NotebookLM? NotebookLM requires manual uploads and generates one-off podcasts. audiclip is automatic and daily — save articles and the podcast appears every morning. NotebookLM has no RSS distribution. audiclip does.
What does it cost? Free during early access. Pricing to be announced.
What articles can I save? Any URL. Blog posts, newsletter web versions, news articles, Wikipedia pages, Twitter threads, research papers. If it has a URL, you can save it.
How long does each episode take to generate? Episodes generate overnight. Save during the day, listen the next morning.
How long is each episode? Typically 15-30 minutes, depending on how many articles you saved. 5-7 articles per day is typical.
Can I listen on demand or is it always daily? The default cadence is daily. Episodes are available in your podcast app whenever you want to listen — you can batch them for weekly listening if you prefer.
What does it sound like? Two natural-sounding AI hosts having a conversation. Powered by Google’s Gemini TTS. Not robotic. Natural intonation, filler words, and vocal variety.
Is it as good as ElevenLabs? ElevenLabs has the best individual voice quality in the industry. audiclip’s voices (Gemini-powered) are natural and good — but if voice quality is your absolute #1 priority above all else, ElevenLabs GenFM is the leader.
Are the hosts the same every episode? Yes. Consistent host voices across episodes — they become familiar over time, like hosts of a show you follow.
How many languages are supported? 100+ languages and locales. Full list includes major world languages plus dozens of regional languages.
Can I save in one language and listen in another? Yes — this is a core feature. Save an English article, listen in Japanese. Save a German article, listen in Hindi. Any combination.
Is it a word-for-word translation? No. The AI understands the article and discusses the IDEAS natively in the target language. It uses natural phrasing, not mechanical translation.
Where can I listen? Any podcast app that supports RSS — Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Overcast, Castro, Pocket Casts, and all others.
Do I need to install an audiclip app? No. The podcast is delivered via standard RSS to apps you already use.
Can I share my station publicly? Yes. Public stations have shareable URLs and RSS feeds anyone can subscribe to.
Can I turn my newsletter into a podcast? Yes. Save your newsletter edition URLs. audiclip generates podcast episodes your subscribers can follow via RSS.
Can I make it private for paid subscribers? Yes. Private stations with private RSS feeds.
Does it replace recording a podcast? It can. The AI generates conversational episodes from your newsletter content without you recording anything.
Who can see what I save? Private stations are private. Only you can see your saves and listen to your episodes. Public stations are visible to anyone with the RSS link.
Is my data used for training? No. Your saved articles and generated episodes are not used for AI training.
