Tips for the Announcement
- Send as a standalone email — don’t bury it at the bottom of a regular edition
- Include a sample — link to the latest episode so they can hear the quality immediately
- Frame it as a benefit — “for those who fall behind on reading” removes stigma
- Ask for feedback — replies boost email deliverability AND give you signal
Follow-Up in Regular Editions
After the announcement, add a footer to every newsletter edition:
